First-party attribution
Crediting a sale using the brand's own store data instead of third-party cookies, so it keeps working when cookies do not.
First-party attribution credits a sale from the brand's own Shopify order data rather than a third-party cookie set in the shopper's browser. The referral is carried in the cart note as a ?ref= value and matched on our server when the order comes through. Because it does not rely on cross-site cookies, it keeps crediting sales after browsers and devices drop those cookies. No discount code is needed to make a sale count.
